Verdugo already has two four-hit games for the Braves, though he’s 4-for-28 in his other six contests. He isn’t the worst option in mixed leagues for teams looking more for batting average than homers or steals. However, his limitations in those categories hold him back from sporting real value.

Harris broke a 3-3 tie with a two-run double off Ryan Feltner. He’s up to 15 RBI on the season, and he’s now stolen six bases over Atlanta’s first 28 games. Harris hasn’t been great to begin 2025, but the hits are starting to fall again for the 24-year-old. He should be fine.

Iglesias blew his last chance at a save, but he bounced back with a scoreless frame despite allowing one hit. He threw 8-of-9 pitches for strikes to lower his ERA to 5.73 while getting the fifth save of his 2025 campaign. It’s a nice outing and Iglesias should still get the majority of the save chances, but it’s fair to be worried about what Iglesias has shown over the first month.

All three runs against Elder came on a homer with two on by Hunter Goodman in the first. After that, Elder was able to hold the lowly lineup off the scoreboard and lowered his ERA to a still shaky 5.33 over his five starts. He does get his first win, and he’ll go for his second against the Reds next week.

Greene, 24, drove in three runs with the two homers. The first was a solo blast off Ronel Blanco, the second a two-run shot off Kaleb Ort that made the score 8-5 Astros in the eighth. Greene has gone through ups and downs already in his 2025 campaign, but this helped improve his line to .234/.280/.441 with six homers and 16 RBI through 28 games.

Altuve hit second behind Jeremy Peña again — with Peña going 2-for-4 and scoring a pair of runs in the contest — and it went well for the 34-year-old. He socked a two-run blast off Jack Flaherty that gave the Astros a 4-3 lead in the sixth, and he picked up his third RBI of the day with a fielder’s choice in the seventh. Altuve is now hitting .282/.316/.409 on the season, and while that’s a far cry from his best campaigns, it’s also far from unuseable as well.

Domínguez hasn’t exactly set the fantasy landscape ablaze so far, striking out 32 percent of the time in exactly 100 plate appearances through 25 games. He hasn’t been a complete non-factor since he’s contributed two homers, 12 RBI and three steals during that span. The 22-year-old top prospect isn’t going anywhere and an extended hot streak would certainly help flip the narrative on his early-season performance.
