Bo Bichette went 2-for-5 with a double and an RBI against the Mariners on Sunday.

Bichette is still without a home run after 96 at-bats this season. The 27-year-old shortstop is hitting .313 after Sunday’s two-hit effort. Bichette is a career .291 hitter with a .796 OPS, though his OPS is just .752 so far this season. Despite the lack of power, Bichette has 13 RBI out of the leadoff spot for Toronto.

George Springer went 2-for-5 and blasted a three-run homer on Sunday afternoon, powering the Blue Jays to a 9-1 victory over the Mariners in Seattle.

Springer broke the game open with his 416-foot three-run shot off of Bryce Miller in the fifth inning, extending the Jays’ lead to 5-1. He also singled and scored on an RBI single by Nathan Lukes in the seventh inning. The 35-year-old outfielder has found the fountain of youth this season, slashing .297/.404/.517 with five homers, 18 RBI and five stolen bases.

    Recap

Addison Barger whacked a solo home run, singled, drew a walk and scored a pair of runs on Sunday as the Blue Jays crushed the Mariners in their series finale in Seattle.

Barger did his damage in the seventh inning, crushing a Collin Snider cutter for a 363-foot (107.2 mph EV) solo shot that extended the Blue Jays’ lead to 8-1. He also drew a walk and scored on George Springer’s three-run blast in the fifth inning. With his 2-for-4 afternoon, Barger is now hitting .241/.305/.407 with one home run and eight RBI in his time with the Jays.

    Eric Lauer

    Recap

Eric Lauer picked up a victory as a bulk reliever against the Mariners on Sunday afternoon, firing 4 2/3 innings of scoreless baseball.

The 29-year-old southpaw allowed just one hit and one walk on the afternoon while racking up five strikeouts. He took over after José Ureña had faced the Mariners’ lineup one time through and absolutely dominated for the next 4 2/3 innings. Lauer got six swings and misses on 63 pitches on the afternoon, posting a solid CSW of 29 percent. He’ll probably function in a similar capacity his next time out against the Tigers in Toronto next weekend, making him an interesting streaming option in the deepest of mixed leagues and AL-only formats.

    Recap

Xavier Edwards went 2-for-4 with a walk, run scored, an RBI and a stolen base against the White Sox on Sunday.

Edwards can be difficult to evaluate from a fantasy perspective. On one hand, he’s scored 18 runs and has 11 stolen bases this season, which is what his fantasy managers were looking for from him when they drafted him. He also has 11 RBI. On the other hand, he’s hitting just .259 with no power whatsoever. Edwards now has just one home run and a .066 ISO 139 career MLB games. Speed is certainly important in fantasy and Edwards could push for 50 steals this year, but his .328 average in 70 games last year looks like a fluke and he might just be a one or two category player this year.

Francisco Lindor went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 6-2 win over the Cubs on Sunday.

Lindor homered off Porter Hodge to break a 2-2 tie in the eighth inning. It was his ninth home run and 26th RBI of the year. He has been well worth his late-first, early-second-round draft price so far this season.
