Varsho has only played in seven games this year, but they’ve been seven good ones. He’s homered three times already, and his slugging percentage is a remarkable — and entirely unsustainable — .727 over 22 at-bats. Varsho has been a mediocre offensive player in his two seasons with the Blue Jays, but it’s possible at the age of 28 he’s having a breakout campaign. Far from a guarantee, but possible.

Swanson will begin his rehab assignment at the lowest level as the Blue Jays work the right-hander back into game shape. He’s missed all of 2025, but should be a high-leverage bullpen option in the summer months if there are no setbacks.

Guerrero also drew a walk. It gives the first baseman multiple hits in back-to-back games, and it’s the third time in May that he’s reached that mark. That’s helped raise his average from .268 to .295, and the only thing fantasy managers can be disappointed with is his .432 slugging percentage. That number should continue to climb as the season unfolds, but Vladdy Jr. has had some inconsistent seasons when it comes to power production.

Green got the save after Jeff Hoffman worked in back-to-back games — and struggled — in the first two contests against the Angels. He struck out two and looked the part while needing just nine pitches to get through the inning. Hoffman should remain the closer, but Green is on his tail if the struggles were to continue.

Hill has missed the last three weeks with a sprained wrist, but he could be activated this weekend. Ronny Simon and Graham Pauley are the candidates to be demoted to make room for him.

Harris II tripled in a run in the fifth, and he came up huge with an RBI single in the ninth that tied the contest at 4-4. The 24-year-old was due for a solid game, as he still is hitting a lackluster .229/.245/.354 at just under the quarter point of the season. It was Harris’ first multi-hit game since April 26. Expect Harris II to go on a run soon, but even with this solid game, fantasy managers have a right to be disappointed with the production.

Marsh didn’t waste any time, smacking the first pitch that Manuel Rodriguez threw in the 10th inning for a go-ahead RBI double into left field. He then came around to score what would stand as the winning run on an RBI knock by Trea Turner. Marsh also singled and scored on Bryson Stott’s three-run blast in the eighth inning. The 27-year-old outfielder finished the night 2-for-4 and is now hitting .170/.274/.264 with one homer, seven RBI and zero stolen bases through his first 22 games on the season.
