Both homers came off Nick Lodolo. Moore remains as brutal as ever against righties, but that’s why he hits at the bottom of the order when he plays against them. Against lefties this year, he’s 8-for-19 with four homers and three walks. This was his fourth game ever with two homers and second with five RBI.

Arozarena told reporters he expects to return to Tuesday’s lineup after leaving Sunday’s series finale against the Rangers with a minor right hamstring issue. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern moving forward, but hamstring’s can be tricky matters. It’s a situation fantasy managers should continue to monitor closely. It’ll be Miles Mastrobuoni taking over in left field with rookie Rhylan Thomas getting into the lineup in the opposite corner.

Kirby looked extremely sharp in his rehab debut, piling up four strikeouts and needing just 42 pitches (33 strikes) to complete three frames. The 27-year-old fantasy ace is working his way back from shoulder inflammation that cropped up during spring training. He’s expected to be ready to rejoin Seattle’s rotation in a couple weeks after continuing to build up his pitch count and stamina.

Mariners’ manager Dan Wilson told reporters after the game that Arozarena had “a little bit of a hamstring thing... but nothing serious”. It doesn’t sound like it’s anything that should require an extended absence, but be sure to monitor his status on Monday just to be on the safe side.

This didn’t look good. Callihan suffered what appeared to be a serious-looking left arm injury when he collided with the left-field wall while attempting to make a sliding catch during the bottom of the third inning. The positive news here is that he was able to walk off the field under his own power while holding his left arm. There should be an update on his status shortly.
