No surprise here after Springer was pulled from Sunday’s series finale against the Orioles with left wrist discomfort. The 35-year-old veteran outfielder is day-to-day after X-rays came back negative for any fractures. He’ll presumably get a couple days to rest and recover before returning to Toronto’s lineup. It’ll be Myles Straw in center field on Monday night.

Santander came through with the biggest moment of his Blue Jays debut, delivering a clutch seventh-inning homer against Red Sox reliever Garrett Whitlock to help Toronto erase an early six-run deficit. It was his fourth big fly of the season. It wound up being his lone hit in five at-bats, but it made a significant impact in a comeback victory.

Hoffman has been simply magnificent this season in his Blue Jays debut, allowing just two runs with a 22/1 K/BB ratio over 15 1/3 innings (13 appearances). The 32-year-old sent Wednesday’s marathon affair at the Rogers Centre to extras with a flawless ninth before coming back out to work a perfect 10th inning. He’s looked like a borderline elite closer this season for fantasy purposes.

Rodríguez took the ball to kick off a bullpen game for Toronto and was involved in a handful of bizarre moments during an eventful opening frame, which included Jarren Duran getting thrown out at home on Rafael Devers’ double to right field and Devers crossing the plate on a balk immediately after a wild pitch. He also served up a solo homer to Alex Bregman, just for good measure. The 28-year-old righty holds an underwhelming 5.68 ERA, 1.50 WHIP and 10/7 K/BB ratio across 12 2/3 innings (11 appearances, one start).

Butler put the game away for the A’s with a salami off Shawn Armstrong that turned a 3-1 game into a 7-1 rout. It’s the fifth homer of 2025 for Butler, and his RBI total bumps up from seven to 11 with the bases-clearing bomb. He ends the month with a slash of .258/.324/.432, and those numbers should keep climbing.

Judge’s dominance this season is becoming ridiculous. He tattooed a 426 foot home run in the first inning here against Orioles’ starter Cade Povich and never made an out. Sadly, he was stranded in the on-deck circle in a one run game after Trent Grishman struck out to record the final out in this one. Nevertheless, Judge has registered multiple hits in six of his last eight games and has a jaw-dropping 1.282 OPS through just over a month of play.

Stowers came in with two homers in 27 games, but given that he had 10 barrels already, he was rather unlucky in that regard. He’s now batting .323/.396/.510 in 111 plate appearances, and while we wouldn’t expect him to keep that up, he should remain a perfectly solid outfielder for the Marlins, albeit one who will likely need a platoon partner in the long run.
