No real surprise here following Kjerstad’s early exit from Saturday’s showdown with right elbow discomfort. The encouraging news here for fantasy managers is that the 26-year-old doesn’t appear to have suffered serious injury after being hit by a pitch. He’s day-to-day for now. It’ll be Ryan O’Hearn moving out to right field with Ramón Laureano entering Sunday’s lineup to play left field.

The 23-year-old superstar shortstop led off the game with a double to center off of Tyler Anderson and scored on Adley Rutschman’s triple that Taylor Ward lost in the sun. Henderson then capped off a four-run uprising in the sixth inning with a 386-foot (104.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Connor Brogdon that extended the Orioles’ advantage to 7-2. With his two-hit effort, Henderson is now hitting .264/.307/.473 with five homers, nine RBI and three stolen bases in his first 32 games on the season.

Mullins also singled off of Connor Brogdon in the sixth inning and rode home on Gunnar Henderson’s two-run blast. Ward atoned for his defensive miscue in the top half of the first inning by smacking a run-scoring double off of Zach Eflin that tied the game at 1-1. He then came around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Logan O’Hoppe. Even with the two-hit attack though, Ward is slashing a miserable .182/.226/.385 on the season to go with eight homers and 17 RBI.

Happ played catch and was able to take swings prior to sitting out Sunday’s game against the Mets, so it appears there’s a chance he’ll be ready for Monday’s series opener against the Marlins. Emerging fantasy star Pete Crow-Armstrong went 1-for-4 with solo homer on Sunday in his second straight appearance in the leadoff spot with Happ out of the lineup.

Larnach hit a 108.5 mph double off Logan Webb in the first, but the Twins couldn’t capitalize then. The two-run homer came in the third, and Minnesota’s pitching staff made a 2-1 lead hold up over the rest of the evening. Larnach is batting .232/.313/.380 with six homers and 20 RBI through 39 games. It’s not great for a guy who is spending a lot of time DHing, but it seems unlikely that the Twins will be able to do better.
