The 21-year-old superstar worked Jack Flaherty for a walk to start the home half of the first inning but was erased on a fielder’s choice. He then reached on an error in the seventh inning, stole second and scored on a fielder’s choice off the bat of William Contreras. The 21-year-old phenom is off to a nice start to his sophomore campaign, slashing .275/.280/.563 with five homers, 17 RBI and a pair of stolen bases.

Bauers singled in a run in the eighth inning to give the Brewers some breathing room as it made it a 5-1 game. The 29-year-old journeyman has swung the bat at a solid rate over the first fifth of the season with a .787 OPS, but it’s hard to imagine he’s going to get enough playing time — or do enough with the time he gets — to make him a fantasy-relevant player any time soon.

Yelich gave the Brew Crew a 3-0 lead with a two-run blast off Ronel Blanco. That homer and the steal later in the contest put him at six homers, seven steals and 25 RBI over 36 games. He’s also hitting just .210, but at least the counting stats haven’t been abhorrent for the former MVP.

Myers allowed six hits, but the only run came in the sixth inning on a fielder’s choice. The 26-year-old was far from dominant with just two strikeouts, but he only allowed one extra-base hit and didn’t issue a walk. Myers had plenty of starts like this in his rookie campaign, and while he doesn’t miss a ton of bats, he’s obviously tough to square up. He gets the Rays next week.
