It’s impossible to rule out a potential IL stint for Thomas as he remains out of Cleveland’s lineup for the fifth consecutive contest with a right wrist contusion. It’ll be red-hot Angel Martinez in center field for Sunday’s series finale against the Royals with lefty Cole Ragans on the mound.

Bibee allowed five hits, walked none and struck out three before coming out. It’s the fourth time this season that he’s allowed one or no runs, but he’s won just one of those games. He’s 3-3 with a 3.80 ERA overall ahead of a date with the Reds in Cincinnati.

Arias has been red-hot at the plate recently, hitting .375 (9-for-24) over his last seven games. The 25-year-old lacks prototypical middle-of-the-order power, but the Guardians are going to give him a shot hitting ahead of José Ramírez, Carlos Santana and Kyle Manzardo, which is undoubtedly a positive for his fantasy value. Carter is now 6-for-21 (.273) since being promoted, with one home run and one stolen base. He has just one extra-base hit and has been sitting against lefties, but it’s a solid start for the 22-year-old, who has enough upside to be scooped up in most formats
