White is one of the most promising pitching prospects in baseball, period. The 20-year-old southpaw’s fastball and slider combination is going to lead to astronomical strikeout totals down the road and make him an impact fantasy contributor. He set down 10 of the final 11 batters he faced on Friday, lowering his full-season ERA to a strong 3.24 mark through six starts for High-A Beloit. He should reach the upper minors at some point in the second half of the year with a chance to make it to Miami in 2026.

Sánchez got the Marlins on the board first in this one as he plated Xavier Edwards with an RBI single off of Bryse Wilson before an out had been recorded. He then swiped second base and advanced to third on an error, but the Marlins couldn’t cash him in from there. The 27-year-old outfielder then reached on an infield single in the third inning and again pilfered second base but was stranded there. With his two-hit attack. he’s now hitting .235/.312/.309 with one homer, seven RBI and four stolen bases in his first 19 games.

Meyer also issued three free passes while striking out five batters on the evening. The White Sox got him for two runs in the second inning, including a solo blast off the bat of Andrew Vaughn, then the right-hander shut them down until they tacked on three more while chasing him in the seventh. Meyer generated 13 swings and misses on 90 pitches on the evening, posting a CSW of 29 percent. He’ll attempt to bounce back as he carries a 4.17 ERA, 1.35 WHIP and a 52/16 K/BB ratio (45 1/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Rays.

The interesting wrinkle here is that the Mets are rolling with Brett Baty at the hot corner for the third straight game over Vientos. The 25-year-old has managed to turn things around following a disastrous start to the year, but he’s still not making a significant impact for fantasy purposes.

Suárez also drew a pair of walks. He hit a two-run homer off Roki Sasaki to give him 11 on the season; four of those coming two weeks ago when he tied the MLB record for homers in a game. The 33-year-old is hitting a rough .210 on the season, but his 28 RBI and the aforementioned roundtrippers have kept him relevant — and then some — over the first quarter of the season.

Down 12-1 after the top of the sixth inning, McMahon helped lead the Rockies on a valiant comeback effort with a home run and then two more hits late in the middle of rallies. He had three batted balls hit harder than 100 mph and seems to be pulling himself out of the doldrums with three multi-hit games in his last four starts.
