Ramón Urías

Ramón Urías was scratched from the Orioles’ starting lineup on Friday due to right hamstring tightness.
No word yet on the severity of the injury or how much time the 30-year-old infielder may stand to miss. Emmanuel Rivera will start in his place at the hot corner on Friday night and will bat ninth against Michael Wacha and the Royals.

Dean Kremer

Dean Kremer limited the Royals to three hits over seven innings in the Orioles’ 3-0 shutout victory Friday.
Kremer struck out just two and gave up 12 hard-hit balls tonight, but he allowed only a double and two singles. His velocity was actually down about one mph from where he’s typically sat this year, so we don’t see much of anything to be encouraged about here. He’ll take a 3-4 record and a 5.73 ERA into his next start versus the Twins.
Félix Bautista

Félix Bautista turned in a perfect ninth with a three-run lead for a save against the Royals on Friday.
Bautista has a 1.80 ERA and hasn’t blown any leads in 10 appearances, but these more recent outings are definitely instilling more confidence than some of the early ones. He’s faced just one batter over the minimum in his last five appearances.
Ryan O'Hearn

Ryan O’Hearn went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer against the Royals in Friday’s victory.
The homer was O’Hearn’s second in nine games against his longtime organization. He probably shouldn’t have much bad blood, though. The Royals obviously had no idea how to unlock his talent, but they also kept him around on a major league salary for three years longer than his play justified. O’Hearn has excelled in his platoon role this year, batting .303/.384/.579 in 86 plate appearances.

Javier Báez hit a two-run homer in a blowout win for the Tigers over the Angels on Friday.
Where has this version of Báez been? It’s sure fun to see now, and fun to see him appear to enjoy the sport of baseball again. With the two-run homer, he’s now slashing .300/.337/.467 with three roundtrippers and 14 RBI over 90 at-bats. He’s gone deep in three straight games, and while it’s understandable if fantasy managers are skeptical, it’s also not crazy to think he’s capable of being a fantasy helper in 2025. Weirder things have happened, folks.
Josh Smith

Josh Smith hit a solo homer in a loss to the Mariners on Friday.
Smith hit a homer to bring the Rangers to within a dozen in the ninth inning. Still counts. The 27-year-old has been one of the few effective hitters for the Texas offense with a .296/.380/.457 slash with three homers and seven RBI in his 81 at-bats.
José Ramírez

José Ramírez was diagnosed with a mild right ankle sprain after leaving Friday’s ballgame against the Blue Jays.
Fortunately, it sounds like the 32-year-old superstar was able to avoid any significant injury on Friday after getting injured while attempting to evade a throw at first base while hustling out an infield single in the third inning. He may wind up needing a couple of days off, or to serve as the Guardians’ designated hitter for a few games, but it doesn’t sound like he should be looking at a stint on the injured list. Fantasy managers can now exhale.
