He also doubled and singled. Neto turned a 3-3 tie into a 4-3 lead for the Halos with his second roundtripper of the season. Since returning from the injured list, he’s hit just .238, but it’s come with a .619 slugging percentage. Expect that batting average to rise and that slugging percentage to creep down, but it’s nice to see Neto contributing after returning from his shoulder issue.

Jansen did allow a hit, but he was able to keep that runner at by while keeping is scoreless streak to begin 2025 alive. It’s the sixth save of the season for the 37-year-old, and at least to begin the campaign he’s shown there’s still life left in his right arm.

Anderson gave up three runs in the first two innings, but settled down nicely while picking up a quality start. This was the worst start of April for the veteran southpaw, and he still is the proud owner of a respectable 2.60 ERA over his five outings in 2025. Anderson will get a chance to pitch in Seattle next week.

Kochanowicz was able to hold the Angels to just the pair of runs despite allowing eight hits, and he walked one with three punchouts. It wasn’t always pretty — few of his starts are because Kochanowicz misses so few bats — but it’s the third time in five starts he’s given up two runs. He’ll get a chance to limit the damage again in T-Mobile Park against the Mariners in Seattle.

Tovar hit the injured list last weekend with a left hip contusion, but figures to be ready to rejoin Colorado’s lineup at some point in early May. He’s gotten off to an extremely slow start at the dish, hitting .212 (14-for-66) with zero homers, four RBI and two steals in 16 games.

Schunk was up with the Rockies over the past week as extra infield depth, going 5-for-20 in seven games. He’s likely to miss a couple weeks, even if it’s a relatively minor issue.

Wilson’s power showing over spring training have carried over into the regular season, and while there’s a long way to go, it’s a big boost to fantasy player’s confidence. It should be, anyway. The 23-year-old isn’t draw ing many free passes, but a .347/.354/.500 slash is awfully hard to complain about. Wilson will see some regression in the power numbers, but the bat-to-ball skills will always make him a threat for a high average.
