Isaiah Stewart

Isaiah Stewart (knee) has been ruled out for Game 2 against the Knicks on Monday.
Stewart underwent postgame imaging after Saturday’s loss after struggling through that game. He won’t be available as Jalen Duren’s backup off the bench. Paul Reed is next in line at center, but he isn’t a player that Detroit wants to have to trust in the postseason. Duren may just end up playing more minutes.

Isaiah Stewart (knee) is questionable for Tuesday’s matchup with the Knicks.
Stewart logged 19 minutes in Game 1 and has missed the last three games of the first-round series with New York. Should Stewart miss Game 5, Paul Reed should continue to pick up additional minutes in his absence.

Kristaps Porzingis finished Sunday’s Game 4 win over the Magic with 19 points (7-of-14 FGs, 3-of-3 FTs), 5 rebounds, one assist, one steal and two three-pointers in 22 minutes.
Porzingis bounced back from a low-scoring Game 3 with his second double-digit outing of the series. The performance included two three-pointers, which were the first of the opening round for the ninth-year veteran center. With Porzingis finding his touch from beyond the arc, perhaps he’ll sustain his rhythm in Tuesday’s Game 5 in Boston, where the Celtics will look to close out the series.

Julius Randle amassed 25 points (9-of-22 FGs, 4-of-4 FTs), seven rebounds, three assists, one steal and three three-pointers in 43 minutes in Sunday’s Game 4 win over the Lakers.
While his overall field goal percentage in Game 4 was subpar, Randle’s fast start helped the Timberwolves stay within striking distance early on. He shot 4-of-6 from the field in the first quarter, with Minnesota heading into the second trailing by four. Randle has scored 22 points or more in each of his last three games, shooting 24-of-52 from the field. He and the Timberwolves will look to close out the series on Wednesday in Los Angeles.
Santi Aldama

Santi Aldama logged 40 minutes in Saturday’s Game 4 loss to the Thunder, accumulating 23 points (9-of-13 FGs), nine rebounds, three assists and five three-pointers.
Aldama was the replacement in the Grizzlies’ starting lineup for Ja Morant, who sat out with a hip contusion. The fourth-year forward played well, shooting efficiently and providing value as a rebounder. The 2024-25 season was a good one for Aldama, who had his moments after being considered little more than a late-round option in the fall. He finished just outside the top-100 in eight- and nine-cat formats, providing greater value in the latter. Aldama will be a restricted free agent this summer.
