Giannis didn’t record any defensive stats on Sunday, the first time he’s done that since the Bucks’ opener, but the offensive production remained elite. He’s scored at least 31 points in seven of the nine games he’s appeared in and is providing top-15 per-game value in eight- and nine-cat formats. Despite shooting just 63.5 percent from the foul line, Antetokounmpo’s field-goal percentage has increased by three points compared to last season. Also, his rebounding average has increased while the turnovers have decreased. The Bucks play four games during Week 4, starting with the Mavericks on Monday.

No surprise here, as Giannis carried a probable designation into Saturday afternoon. Still, fantasy managers now have confirmation that the Greek Freak is available, and he should be deployed as usual in lineups for Sunday’s early showdown with Kevin Durant and the Rockets.

Antetokounmpo is given his usual probable tag, so he should suit up against Houston. The Rockets have an elite defense, but Giannis should have no issues putting up his typical dominant numbers.

The Bulls had no answer for Antetokounmpo, who shot 50 percent from the field and finished one assist shy of a triple-double. And he was especially lethal during the fourth quarter, scoring 19 points. While he’s shooting 63.4 percent from the foul line, Giannis’ improvement in the turnover category has enhanced his value in nine-cat formats. According to Basketball Monster, he’s a top-10 player in eight- and nine-cat formats. More nights like Friday will give him a shot at cracking the top-5 in fantasy value, something he has not done since the 2016-17 campaign.

Antetokounmpo took all 14 of his shots inside the arc, scoring 15 of his team-high 22 points in the first half. The Bucks sputtered offensively on the second night of a back-to-back, shooting just 31 percent (6-of-19) from three in the opening half and falling behind by 19 at the break. They trailed by 25 entering the fourth, which allowed Giannis to rest the entire final period. The 30-year-old superstar is averaging 32 points and 12 rebounds through seven games, ranking as a top-10 fantasy contributor so far. Milwaukee will look to bounce back Friday night against the division-rival Bulls.

It was another spectacular night for Antetokounmpo despite another rough night from the free throw line, and it ended with a contested fadeaway at the buzzer. Giannis will continue to stuff the stat sheet every night for Milwaukee; he has scored at least 30 points in five of his six appearances and has a double-double in all but one game this season. This was the first leg of a back-to-back, so there is a chance that Antetokounmpo doesn’t play against the Raptors on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the injury report.

As expected, Giannis will be good to go against Indiana. Antetokounmpo is coming off posting a 26/11/8 line in a loss to the Kings and should be in for a dominant night against the Pacers, who have allowed 121.2 points per game this season.

Antetokounmpo was also listed as questionable prior to Saturday’s game against the Kings before ultimately taking the floor and logging a 26/11/8 line in the loss. If he’s active against Indiana, the former league MVP could continue his dominance on the season — he’s averaging 34.2 points, 13.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 1.2 blocks and 0.8 steals through five games. Kyle Kuzma would likely replace Antetokounmpo in the starting lineup if he is unavailable to play.

Giannis had a chance to send Saturday’s game into overtime after rebounding a free throw intentionally missed by teammate AJ Green. Unfortunately for the Bucks star, he was stripped of the ball by Zach LaVine just before time expired, ending Milwaukee’s four-game win streak. However, despite a sore knee, Antetokounmpo finished two assists shy of a triple-double and recorded a complete stat line. The Bucks play four games during Week 3, beginning with a Monday/Tuesday back-to-back. Given Giannis’ lingering knee soreness, fantasy managers need to consider the possibility of him getting an injury management night.

Giannis missed Thursday’s game against the Warriors with a knee injury, but is available to return Saturday against the Kings. The Greek Freak is averaging 36 points per game, 14 rebounds per game and seven assists per game in four games this year. Kyle Kuzma can be safely dropped in most formats.

Giannis missed Thursday’s game against the Warriors with a knee injury. Kyle Kuzma replaced him in the starting lineup and had 10 points and eight rebounds. Kuzma and Bobby Portis would stand as the biggest beneficiaries if Antetokounmpo misses another game, but hopefully he can return sooner rather than later.

Giannis was initially probable for Thursday’s game, so his being downgraded to out is surprising. Kyle Kuzma, Taurean Prince or Bobby Portis is the most likely replacement in the starting lineup, with the former being the player who deep-league managers should target for streaming purposes.

Giannis is on the Bucks’ injury report, but he is expected to play on Thursday. The star forward has been elite to begin the season, and Kevin Porter Jr.'s absence due to a sprained ankle has resulted in more time on the ball for Antetokounmpo.

Giannis isn’t the first elite player to change his shoes after a slow start, and he won’t be the last. In the aftermath of Tuesday’s performance, the Knicks likely hope the Bucks star would have remained in his first pair. Gianns got downhill at will, and his final stat line included seven assists, a number he’s met or exceeded in three straight games. While Ryan Rollins has filled in capably at the point with Kevin Porter Jr. (ankle) sidelined, KPJ’s injury also means more instances of “Point Giannis,” which is great for fantasy managers.

While Ryan Rollins has served as the starting point guard in Kevin Porter Jr.'s absence, there has been an uptick in Antetokounmpo’s usage as a primary playmaker. He was excellent against the Cavaliers, dishing out nine assists and committing just two turnovers. Add in scoring, rebounding and defense, and Sunday was another great night to have Antetokounmpo rostered. Fantasy managers still have to punt free-throw percentage when rostering Giannis; he brings too much value to the table to lose sleep over a single category. Milwaukee plays three games during Week 2, all at home, starting with the Knicks on Tuesday.

Giannis is dealing with a toe injury that could keep him on the injury report going forward, but won’t cause him to miss many if any games. The 30-year-old power forward should see another big workload against the Cavaliers on Sunday.

Giannis will likely continue to be listed as probable all season, though there is no indication that he will miss this game. He should occupy his usual role after having 31 points, 20 rebounds and seven assists on Friday.

The Greek Freak started the season with a 37-point effort against the Wizards on Wednesday, but he arguably had the better game Friday against the Raptors. Giannis had 31 points, 20 rebounds and seven assists. He made both of his three-point attempts. With the Bucks counting on him as much as they ever have this season, he’s off to a fantastic start.

Giannis is good to go after being listed as probable on the initial injury report. He’ll take on his usual role as the focal point of the Bucks’ offense, so managers who have Antetokounmpo rostered need to have him in their active lineups.

Antetokounmpo was dealing with a back injury before the season opener, and now he’s dealing with a sprained toe. However, it isn’t expected to keep him from suiting up against Toronto. Expect Antetokounmpo to be in for yet another dominant stat line.

Added to the Bucks’ injury report on Wednesday afternoon due to a sore lower back, Antetokounmpo was cleared just over an hour before tipoff. He looked healthy when on the floor and was highly productive in his 27 minutes. The 37 points are the most Antetokounmpo has scored in a season opener in his NBA career, and the efficiency also stands out. He only committed two turnovers and largely passed up the three-pointers, attempting just three. Giannis’ workload will be even heavier this season, but the “supporting cast” showed it can step up on Wednesday. He’ll again be one of the best players in fantasy basketball, especially for those punting free-throw percentage.

Antetokounmpo popped up on the injury report Thursday morning as probable with a back injury. Nevertheless, the 30-year-old power forward is set to suit up Wednesday against the Wizards. The Greek Freak should be active in all fantasy lineups now that he’s officially available for the Bucks’ season opener.

Giannis was listed as active throughout Wednesday morning, so the late afternoon change in designation is certainly notable. Fantasy managers should stay on top of injury reports leading up to tip off. If Giannis is unable to go, Bobby Portis and Kyle Kuzma would presumably soak up his vacated minutes.

Giannis might’ve been headed for a triple-double if he played his usual nearly 40 minutes, but he played just 25 minutes because it’s the preseason. The 30-year-old power forward made 6-of-10 free throws against the Thunder on Tuesday after shooting 61 percent from the free throw line last year. Despite his troubles from the foul line, the Greek Freak is a steal in the back half of the first round of fantasy basketball drafts.

Antetokounmpo made his first start of the preseason after getting over a case of COVID-19, and he delivered a strong performance. Giannis’ stats certainly weren’t eye-popping, but a double-double in limited time after getting over an illness is definitely encouraging. The free throw element of Giannis’ game keeps him out of the No. 1 conversation in fantasy basketball, but he should go in the first round of every draft.

Antetokounmpo, whose arrival in Milwaukee for the preseason was delayed due to a case of COVID-19, will make his first in-game appearance on Sunday. Bobby Portis started Milwaukee’s most recent preseason game on Thursday against the Pistons, and he’ll likely move to the bench with Giannis available.

Antetokounmpo was not present at the start of the Bucks’ training camp, as he had remained in Greece after being diagnosed with COVID-19. Being able to travel is a surefire sign that the Bucks star has been given a clean bill of health, which is the most important news. No decision has been made regarding Antetokounmpo’s availability for Monday’s preseason game against the Heat, but one can likely assume that neither he nor Milwaukee will look to rush things. The Bucks begin their regular season on October 22 against the Wizards.

Giannis’s absence from Bucks media day is not a big deal; the team will reportedly attempt to make him available via Zoom. However, the COVID-19 diagnosis means he’ll miss some time with the Bucks opening training camp on Tuesday, as Giannis is currently in Greece, according to general manager Jon Horst. His illness should not impact Giannis’ placement on fantasy draft boards unless there’s a drastic turn of events. He’ll be a cornerstone, especially for managers willing to punt free-throw percentage.

Two days after struggling in Greece’s blowout loss to Türkiye, Antetokounmpo bounced back impressively to help Greece win third place at FIBA EuroBasket. While only missing two shots from the field was impressive, so was Giannis’ shooting 75 percent from the foul line. That included the Milwaukee Bucks star making two free throws that gave Greece a 92-89 advantage, salvaging a game the Greeks nearly blew after holding an 81-64 lead with four minutes to go. Antetokounmpo was responsible for seven turnovers but compensated for that with elite production in other areas.

Antetokounmpo may have finished Greece’s semifinal defeat with a double-double, but this was his poorest performance of the tournament. The star forward only attempted one free throw, as Türkiye was able to keep Giannis from getting downhill off the dribble without fouling. And there were some defensive lapses early, which factored into Türkiye’s Ercan Osmani going off for a game-high 28 points. Antetokounmpo and his teammates will look to redeem themselves on Sunday when they face Finland for third place.
