Atlanta general manager Alex Anthopoulos Joe Jiménez (knee) underwent a “cleanup” procedure on his left knee.

Jiménez missed all of 2025 after undergoing surgery on his left knee. Anthopoulos told reporters that the team won’t have an idea on Jiménez’s timeline until December or January. The 30-year-old will likely be a set-up option for the recently re-signed Raisel Iglesias whenever he can pitch, but there’s no guarantee he’ll be ready for the start of 2026.
