ESPN’s Jeff Passan reports that the Marlins are acquiring RHP Bradley Blalock from the Rockies for a minor league pitcher.

Blalock was designated for assignment last week to make room on the 40-man roster for Michael Lorenzen. The 25-year-old posted a 9.36 ERA in 58 2/3 innings for the Rockies. It remains to be seen what role the Marlins have in mind for him, but it’s unlikely he’ll have much fantasy value in 2026.
