Nationals RHP PJ Poulin cleared outright waivers and has been assigned outright to Triple-A Rochester.

Poulin is eligible for Minor League free agency, so he will become a free agent. The 30-year-old was placed on the 15-day injured list in July with a left flexor strain and later moved to the 60-day injured list. He had a 2.70 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and a 25/21 K/BB ratio across 36 2/3 innings in his 35 appearances.
