Not great. Barger will presumably undergo further evaluation and testing this weekend to determine whether he’ll require a trip to the injured list. It’ll be Davis Schneider taking over in right field. The 25-year-old rookie has been a revelation this season for Toronto, hitting .270/.332/.500 with eight homers, 24 RBI and one steal over 54 games. There should be some clarity on his status ahead of Sunday’s series finale at the Rogers Centre.

Berríos was outstanding at home against the White Sox. The only run in against the 31-year-old right-hander was an unearned run in the sixth on a triple and a throwing error. He allowed just one other hit and three walks while striking out five. Berríos will take a solid 3.51 ERA, 1.24 WHIP, and an 81/36 K/BB ratio across 95 innings into a start against the Red Sox in Boston on Friday.

One batter after Byron Buxton walked to end Misiorowski’s perfect game, Wallner homered, snapping Misiorowski’s 11-inning hitless streak to begin his career.
