Vaughn was acquired by the Brewers for Aaron Civale over the weekend. He’s going to stay at Triple-A for a bit as the Brewers work to get him back to last year’s swing, but with Rhys Hoskins being a popular name in trade rumors, Vaughn could get a chance to start for Milwaukee after the deadline.

Misiorowski checked out fine after making an early exit from his big-league debut last Thursday against the Cardinals with right calf and quad cramping following five hitless frames. The flame-throwing 23-year-old top prospect should be rostered in all fantasy formats based on his strikeout upside alone.

The 26-year-old allowed four hits while striking out four and walking two. He now has a 3.48 ERA and 1.31 WHIP in 41 1/3 innings at Triple-A Nashville this season. He deserves another crack at starts in Milwaukee, but it might not happen unless the Brewers move on from Jose Quintana and/or Freddy Peralta at the trade deadline.

Collins walloped a 388-foot (99.9 mph EV) two-run shot off of Ben Brown in the second inning that gave the Brewers an early 2-0 advantage. It would be short lived though. He also doubled to lead off the fourth inning, but never advanced past second base. With his two-hit night, the 27-year-old outfielder is now hitting .242/.349/.375 with three homers, 13 RBI and seven stolen bases in his first 150 plate appearances with the Brewers.

Encarnacion-Strand takes a seat with righty Bailey Ober on the hill for Minnesota as he’s gone into a slide at the dish over the past week, going 3-for-25 with nine strikeouts, following a stretch where he homered in three consecutive contests after coming back from the injured list. With so many teams looking for an impact corner infield bat, Arizona could get a nice return by trading away Naylor, who will be a free agent at the end of the season.
