Athletics placed RHP Grant Holman on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to June 16, with right shoulder cuff tendinitis.
The A’s had optioned Holman to Triple-A on Monday, but that option was rescinded, and he was placed on the injured list instead. No word yet on the severity of the injury or how much time Holman stands to miss.
