Brandon Lowe was removed from Sunday’s game against the Twins with left side soreness.

It sounds like a precautionary decision by the Rays to lift Lowe from the contest in the third inning after he struck out in his lone plate appearance. The 31-year-old’s impressive hitting streak ends at a whopping 20 consecutive games on his birthday no less. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day leading into Monday’s series opener in Detroit.
