The homer makes it a good day, of course, but it was a 345-foot fly to left that was only a homer in one major league ballpark and probably a hit in just one other (it’d have gone off the Green Monster in Fenway). Lee struck out in his other three at-bats. He has been performing well on the whole lately, though; he’s batting .341/.372/.537 in 12 games this month.

Buxton was in Sunday’s original lineup after suffering a left elbow contusion when he was hit by a pitch during Saturday’s game. It sounds like a precautionary decision to give him some extra rest. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now.

Buxton is back in center field and leading off on Sunday afternoon following an early exit from Saturday’s showdown with a left elbow contusion. The 31-year-old appears to have checked out fine after being hit by a pitch since he’s already back in Minnesota’s lineup. It’s a significant relief for the Twins and fantasy managers alike.

Keirsey returns to the majors in advance of Sunday’s series finale against the Astros to fortify Minnesota’s bench. The 28-year-old rookie outfielder hit .109 (7-for-64) with one homer and five steals across 45 games earlier this season in his first exposure to the big leagues.

Vientos is working his way back from a right hamstring strain and should be ready to return by the end of the month. The big question for fantasy purposes is how New York’s infield mix will shake out once he’s back in the fold. It’ll likely be Ronny Mauricio heading back to the minors with Brett Baty ceding some at-bats to facilitate his return.

The positive news for fantasy managers is that Paredes has managed to avoid a trip to the injured list after suffering a hamstring injury during Thursday’s showdown against the White Sox. The 26-year-old infielder figures to be ready to return to Houston’s lineup at some point during a four-game series against the Athletics, which kicks off on Monday night. It’ll be Luis Guillorme filling in at third base on Sunday afternoon in his absence.
