Christian Montes De Oca will undergo surgery on his back according to Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo.

The surgery could cost Montes De Oca the rest of his season. The 25-year-old was placed on the injured list June 10 with inflammation in his back, and at the very best, the right-hander won’t be back for the Diamondbacks’ bullpen until near the end of the summer.
