Cartaya, who was rated by most as one of the game’s top 20 prospects two years ago, is obviously completely lost right now. After missing most of May, he’s gone 2-for-17 with 11 strikeouts in six games since rejoining the Saints. He’s just 23, and there’s still some hope that things will click. He’s nearly unplayable right now, though.

Lewis was lifted for a pinch runner after smacking a single in the ninth inning on Friday night. He finished 2-for-4 with a solo homer before departing. Twins manager Rocco Baldelli told reporters that Lewis tested out well after the game, but he’ll be re-evaluated by the training staff again on Saturday morning before a determination is made on his status. Given his extensive injury history, it wouldn’t be surprising to see this lead to another trip to the injured list. All fantasy managers can do now is wait and hope for the best.
