Lindor is 5-for-38 with no RBI in his last 10 games, and he’s been tumbling down the list of WAR leaders with the All-Star balloting in full swing. It seemed like a lock that this was the year he’d end his long All-Star drought — he last went with the Guardians in 2019, even though he’s finished ninth, ninth and second in the NL MVP balloting the last three years — but that might be in some doubt now. He is way out in front in the fan balloting, but since that’s done in stages now, he could win the first round and perhaps lose to Mookie Betts in the second. He also has to contend with Trea Turner outhitting him and Elly De La Cruz in the home run lead at the position.

Hagenman, 28, will get the boot from the active roster after throwing 2 2/3 innings during Thursday’s game against Atlanta. His demotion makes room for Blade Tidwell with Tidwell starting Friday against the Phillies.

Tidwell is up to make a start against the Phillies on Friday. The right-hander was hit hard in his first appearance in the majors, and this is a tough lineup to justify using him as a streamer, but Tidwell does have quality stuff and has pitched well in Triple-A.

The double was hit 113.3 mph, which is a new high EV for him in tracked games. It also was the high mark for all Triple-A hitters Thursday. Lawlar is batting .286/.408/.603 with four homers and five steals in 15 games since the Diamondbacks returned him to Triple-A.

The Pirates scored four runs off of Brant Hurter in the top half of the 10th inning on Thursday, the final two coming on a two-out, two-run knock by Kiner-Falefa that seemingly put the game out of reach. With his two-hit attack, the 30-year-old infielder is now hitting .288/.333/.358 with one homer, 17 RBI and nine stolen bases on the season.

Bichette is now up to 10 home runs and 44 RBI on the season while slashing .275/.317/.437. After spending the last couple of seasons swinging at almost anything and being forced to hit everything the other way, Bichette has made a clear approach change this season. His launch angle is the highest it’s been since 2020, and his fly ball rate is also the highest it’s been in the same span. Additionally, his overall swing rate and chase rate are the lowest they’ve ever been in Bichette’s career, which is a clear sign that he’s waiting for more pitches that he can drive and then trying to do damage on them rather than expanding the zone early in the count and swinging at pitches he can slap for a single. It’s a great change for his fantasy value.
