Giants manager Bob Melvin told reporters Rafael Devers is playing through groin and back tightness.

Melvin added that Devers hasn’t even been cleared to play first base yet due to the ongoing physical issues. Giants president of baseball operations Buster Posey told reporters earlier on Tuesday that it was “on the table” for Devers to play third base due to all of the injuries on the roster.
