The 32-year-old hurler has been shelved since mid-June due to a Grade 1 hamstring strain. Mendoza expressed optimism that Senga may only need one rehab start before he’s cleared to rejoin the Mets’ rotation — perhaps as early as next week. He has been outstanding when on the mound this season, registering a 1.47 ERA, 1.11 WHIP and a 70/31 K/BB ratio over 73 2/3 innings through his first 13 starts.

Estrada hardly crushed the homer — at 96 mph off the bat, it wasn’t even be considered a barrel — but it tied the game at 2-2 in the first. Estrada later knocked in runs with a groundout in the third and a single in the seventh, giving him the fifth four-RBI game of his career. He’s hitting a nice .317/.339/.436 through 25 games, though his exit-velocity numbers don’t really back it up. The bigger concern from a fantasy standpoint is that he was caught stealing (after being picked off) today for the third time in four attempts this season; he needs the steals to be worth using in mixed leagues, but he just hasn’t been able to contribute there since 2023.

Yorke has now homered in two straight games with hits in five straight and seven of his last eight. The 23-year-old hit .279/.347/.372 in June with one home run, 14 RBI, and two steals. The Pirates could move on from veterans like Tommy Pham and Adam Frazier at the deadline, which could finally open up some MLB at-bats for Yorke.
