Justin Verlander

Justin Verlander (pectoral) is expected to return to the Giants’ rotation during their next homestand.

Verlander threw another bullpen Saturday, and Giants manager Bob Melvin told reporters that the future Hall of Famer “felt good” after that session. Melvin mentioned that the team is still discussing what moves will be made to get Verlander back in the rotation, but all signs point to him making a start in the next week.
