Chase Dollander allowed three runs in 3 2/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Rockies’ 6-4 victory over the White Sox on Sunday.

Brewers’ manager Pat Murphy confirmed Sunday that Rhys Hoskins (thumb) will be placed on the 10-day injured list.

Hoskins’ MRI revealed a Grade 2 left thumb sprain. There had been hope that Hoskins could play through the injury but that unfortunately will not be the case. Expect a roster move to be made on Monday. The expectation is that Jake Bauers will see the bulk of the action at first base while Hoskins is shelved.

Rhys Hoskins (thumb) is not in the lineup for Sunday’s contest against the Marlins.

Hoskins will get a breather, as expected, during Sunday’s game with Jake Bauers handling the cold corner. The 32-year-old first baseman left Saturday’s game against the Marlins with left thumb discomfort and could wind up getting a few additional days off this coming week. He’s officially day-to-day for the moment.

Spencer Torkelson homered for the only run in the Tigers’ 1-0 victory over the Guardians on Saturday.

He also singled. He could have added to the Tigers’ margin for error in the ninth, but up with the bases loaded and one out, he grounded into a double play against Tim Herrin. The homer off Logan Allen was Torkelson’s third in five games this month and 20th overall.
