Albies connected on his seventh homer of the season and gave Atlanta a 4-3 lead with that roundtripper. The 28-year-old has started to make more hard contact, but he’s been one of the bigger fantasy disappointments of 2025 with a slash of .221/.292/.320.

No word yet on the severity of the issue or how much time the 28-year-old slugger may stand to miss (if any). Expect more clarity on his status prior to Saturday’s contest against the Cardinals.

Acuna has been worth the wait for drafters that took the 27-year-old outfielder knowing he’d miss the first two months of the season. He’s hitting .333 after a three-hit effort against the Cardinals on Friday. Acuna scored on an Austin Riley single in the first inning and drove in Michael Harris II in the second inning. He has a 1.041 OPS and 21 RBI this year.

Murphy’s two home runs give him 15 on the season. The topic of trade recent trade rumors, Murphy seemingly makes sense to move given the return he could provide the Braves and the presence of Drake Baldwin. Murphy is hitting .236 with an .828 OPS and 35 RBI this year.

Westburg has been on fire of late. His first inning single – that he scorched 109.9 mph – helped start a rally off Marlins’ starter Edward Cabrera. He was eventually involved in two other rallies scoring three runs in total and being an engine out of the two-hole for Baltimore. He’s now had multiple hits in three of his last six games and took what was a .657 OPS when he returned from his hamstring injury a month ago up to .807 after this game.

The 26-year-old infielder has been doing treatment for his injured left ankle, but it sounds like this is going to end up being a long-term issue. As of now there’s still no clear timeline for a potential return to the Jays’ active roster.

There haven’t been any rumblings about a return trip to the injured list for the 29-year-old infielder, and if it hasn’t happened by now it probably isn’t going to before the All-Star break. Kyle Farmer will start in his place at second base and will bat eighth for the Rockies against Reds’ rookie right-hander Chase Burns on Friday evening in Cincinnati.
