Ryan Bergert

Ryan Bergert has been diagnosed with a right forearm contusion after X-rays came back negative for any fractures.

Bergert is officially questionable to make his next start on Monday against the Phillies after being hit by a 103.3 mph line drive during the fourth inning of Tuesday’s outing against the Nationals. There should be a definitive update on his status at some point later this week when he attempts to throw a bullpen session.
