Seiya Suzuki (knee) went 3-for-5 with a pair of doubles on Tuesday in a minor league rehab game for Double-A Knoxville.
Suzuki appears to be getting close to returning to Chicago for his season debut as he’s hitting .462 (6-for-13) across four games on his minor league rehab assignment. He’ll presumably be ready to make his season debut during Friday’s series opener against the Pirates, but that’s not official yet.
