Kwan doubled twice and singled in the victory. The 27-year-old has struggled for most of June, but this is his second three-hit effort in the last three games to push his average to .305 with a .796 OPS, six homers and 10 stolen bases.

Cecconi gave up a whopping 14 hard-hit balls, but just six were hits and all of those were singles. Two turned into double-play balls. Cecconi helped his cause by starting one of those and also by picking off a runner. It’s definitely encouraging how Cecconi has performed since joining the Cleveland rotation, but today’s outing, which included just three strikeouts, doesn’t really build on that. He’s still a viable option next weekend at home against the Guardians.

Clase gave up two hits and a walk before striking out Max Muncy and getting Lawrence Butler to ground out to end the game. Clase has certainly been better lately than he was at the beginning of the year, but he has given up 12 hits in his last 8 2/3 innings. He’s given up 40 hits and 10 walks in 33 2/3 innings for the season. Last year, he allowed 39 hits and 10 walks in 74 1/3 innings.

Clase didn’t allow a hit, didn’t strike anyone out, and didn’t issue a walk. Boring, but effective. Clase has now saved 17 games in 2025, and his ERA dipped to 3.58 with the scoreless outing.

The versatile 30-year-old had just three home runs on the entire season entering play on Sunday, all of them coming in his last 22 plate appearances. He continued that barrage on Sunday, launching a 378-foot (99.1 mph EV) solo shot off of Kyle Hendricks to get the Astros on the board in the fifth inning. He then clobbered a go-ahead 402-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Hunter Strickland the next inning to give the Astros a lead they would never relinquish. He also drew a walk in the ballgame, reaching base safely three times in five plate appearances. On the season, he’s slashing a respectable .255/.297/.421 with five homers, 18 RBI and a pair of stolen bases in 156 plate appearances.

Langford is back patrolling center field and batting second following a brief two-game absence due to back stiffness. It’s a positive development for fantasy managers that the 23-year-old power/speed combo threat is feeling well enough to get back into action on Sunday afternoon since back issues tend to be complicated matters that tend to linger.

Roden is back in left field and batting ninth after missing three straight games with right knee inflammation. It doesn’t appear to be a serious concern moving forward.
