As of now, Miller’s throwing program consists of throwing from 90 feet. He hopes to advance to bullpens soon and then face live hitters during the All-Star break. All of that would put him on pace to return in late July or early August. However, considering we know that Miller is pitching with loose bodies in his elbow, we should keep expectations in check for 2025.

Polanco returns to Seattle’s lineup following a three-game absence due to left knee soreness. The 31-year-old switch-hitter has cooled off at the dish in recent weeks following a torrid start to the year. He batted just .222 (18-for-81) with one homer, eight RBI and two steals in 22 games during the month of June.

Arozarena had just one homer in June coming into Monday’s game, and he decided enough was enough. He hit both roundtrippers off Michael Wacha; a solo homer and then a three-run blast to bring his season total to 10. He’s not been a major contributor in the average category at .244, but 10 homers, 16 stolen bases and 37 RBI have made him relevant in most leagues over the first three months.

This makes back-to-back outings where Kirby has gone six innings and allowed just a run, and it’s nice to see given his inconsistency to open his 2025 season after the injury. He didn’t issue a walk and struck out five, and the anemic Kansas City offense picked up just three hits off him while he was in the game. Kirby has a friendly matchup on paper against the Pirates over the weekend, and this is a reminder of why he can be an upper-echelon fantasy hurler — and has been in the past.
