Walker Lockett

Walker Jenkins, who suffered a sprained ankle in early April, has rejoined Double-A Wichita following the conclusion of a rehab assignment with Low-A Fort Myers.

Jenkins went 7-for-25 with a homer and two steals in eight games for the Mighty Mussels. Now the 2023 first-round pick is back where he belongs with the Wind Surge. There’s a good chance he’ll spend the rest of the year in Double-A, but if he excels, perhaps a promotion to Triple-A will come.
