Collins opted into the final year of his contract, and he’ll head to the Clippers on an expiring deal. The Heat will get Norman Powell, and Kevin Love and Kyle Anderson will land in Utah along with a 2027 second-round pick. Collins should immediately slot into LA’s starting five alongside Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Ivica Zubac. In Utah, Collins’ departure opens the door for Taylor Hendricks (assuming he’s ready to go for the start of the season) and Kyle Filipowski to see additional playing time.

While Lopez was rumored to be a target of the Lakers, he ends up signing with the Clippers. The 37-year-old center figures to provide frontcourt depth for Tyronn Lue’s squad. Lopez averaged 13 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game last season. He averaged 31.8 minutes per game in 80 games, but lines up to play behind Ivica Zubac with the Clippers.

Wagner tore his ACL in December, and he’ll miss time to start the 2025-26 season. Before suffering the injury, he averaged career highs in points (12.9), rebounds (4.9) and three-point percentage (36) in just 18.8 minutes per game. Once he returns, he’ll likely take on a similar role as a microwave scorer and spacer off the bench.

The 12-week timeframe puts the next significant JJJ update no earlier than September 24, which means he may be ready for the start of the regular season. If Jackson Jr. is forced to miss time into October, Santi Aldama could see a major boost in usage and fantasy value. Zach Edey (ankle) is already set to miss the beginning of the season, leaving Memphis’ frontcourt rotation potentially thin to kick off the 2025-26 campaign.
