Colby Jones

ESPN’s Shams Charania reports the Thunder have waived Colby Jones after acquiring him from the Wizards for Dillon Jones and a future second-round pick.

The 34th overall pick in the 2023 draft, Jones began his NBA career with the Kings before being traded to Washington at the February deadline. He only appeared in 15 games for the Wizards, averaging 8.7 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.3 steals in 25.7 minutes. With Oklahoma City waiving Jones, he’ll be an unrestricted free agent after he clears waivers.
