Jaylon Tyson • Cleveland Cavaliers
Jaylon Tyson amassed 15 points (5-of-10 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), four rebounds, one assist, two steals and four three-pointers in Friday’s loss to the Pistons.
Tyson had a solid night in Detroit, but the ending was brutal for the second-year wing. Attempting to give a foul before the Pistons could get up a potential game-tying three, Tyson was ruled to have fouled Detroit’s Daniss Jenkins in the act of shooting with 4.7 seconds remaining in regulation. Jenkins made all three free throws, and the Pistons would go on to win in overtime. Ending aside, Tyson continues to make strides for the Cavaliers. While his short-term fantasy value took a hit after the James Harden trade and Evan Mobley’s return from a calf injury, dynasty league managers should be excited about Tyson’s long-term potential.
