Jaylon Tyson • Cleveland Cavaliers
Jaylon Tyson led the Cavaliers with 39 points (13-of-17 FGs), five rebounds, four assists and seven three-pointers in a 117-115 win over the 76ers on Friday.
Cleveland was missing multiple rotation players for this game, and other starters were struggling, which made this outing from Tyson so vital. He set a new career high for scoring and had the game-winning assist to Evan Mobley. Tyson also set a career high for three-pointers. He has had an excellent second season in the NBA and has benefited from a multitude of injuries on the perimeter. The Cavs haven’t had as much success as they did last season, which can mostly be attributed to all the games that rotation players have missed. However, Tyson has blossomed and should be an important piece for them for the rest of the season and beyond.
