Marvin Barnes • Dallas Mavericks
Marvin Bagley III totaled 20 points (8-of-11 FGs, 1-of-2 FTs), eight rebounds, two assists, one block and three three-pointers in the loss to the Suns on Wednesday.
Bagley made the start on Wednesday, replacing veteran center Dwight Powell in the opening unit. As a result, Bagley was one of the only two Mavericks players to score 20 or more points, doing so on very efficient shooting and a few three-pointers. The former second-overall pick has played well this season for the Mavericks and has now tallied 20 or more points in three of the last four games. He’s found a nice rhythm to end the season.
