Minix has appeared in 11 NBA games in three seasons, spending most of his time in the G League. The Cavaliers’ G League affiliate has retained his G League rights. To make room for Minix, the Cavaliers have waived Tristan Enaruna.

Minix underwent surgery to repair the labrum in his left shoulder. The rookie has only appeared in one game for the Spurs this season and has not been in the rotation when healthy. Minix’s absence does not impact fantasy basketball.
