RecapCaleb Douglas caught 2-of-3 targets for 70 yards and a touchdown in the Dolphins’ Week 7 win over the Jets.
Douglas was active for the first time since suffering an ankle injury in Week 2. Though he logged a measly 14 percent target share, Douglas was involved early, turning a first-quarter red zone target into his first NFL touchdown. Douglas turned his second catch of the day, a short out route, into a 63-yard touchdown by toe-tapping his way along the sideline for a game-sealing score. His role is only going in one direction after the breakout performance. He will be in the WR3 mix when the Dolphins take on the Pats next week.
