Kyle Monangai (thumb/toe) returned to practice Friday.

The Bears are calling the tailback questionable for Week 9 against the Buccaneers. It’s the first time that Monangai has been able to practice picking up the injury a month ago against the Jets. It seems extremely unlikely that the 24-year-old will be able to play against Tampa Bay on Sunday night, but he appears to be on track to return after the Week 10 bye for the final stretch. Malik Muhammed and Tyrique Stevenson are also questionable for the Sunday Night showdown.
