Rams HC Sean McVay told reporters Friday that Myles Garrett (knee) is expected to play against the Commanders in Week 9.

Garrett will need to come off injured reserve, with the Rams likely making that transaction closer to gametime. The 30-year-old has been as good as any defensive player in football, and for the first time he’ll get to be on the same field as Aaron Donald as teammates. Best of luck, Commanders’ offensive line.
