Austin Ekeler rushed six times for 67 yards in a Week 5 win over the Browns, adding 30 receiving yards on two catches.

Most of Ekeler’s stats came on a beautifully-blocked 50-yard run that got the Commanders into scoring position. He got more usage in the second half with Brian Robinson Jr. on the bench due to a large lead. Ekeler remains the backup, but he has shown enough juice to be a potential deep-league FLEX play when the Commanders are likely to be in trailing gamescripts.
