Williams (6’0/199) spent three years at UNLV before transferring to Cal for his final two years. In 2024, he put up career numbers recording 15 total tackles, six pass deflections, a forced fumble and an FBS-leading seven interceptions. He’s physical, and shows good vision in coverage, but doesn’t have elite speed (4.50s 40-yard dash) and is a bit inconsistent with his reactions to players with more complex route trees. However, one of the biggest traits that stands out in Williams’ game is his competitiveness, as he isn’t going down without a fight while displaying above average ball skills and athleticism. Despite lack of elite speed, he is crafty in coverage and is tough to separate from as is evidenced by an 80th% defensive grade in 2024. Overall, WIlliams is a talented, experienced outside corner who has the potential to develop into a starter in the NFL with his athleticism, competitiveness and physicality.
