Chiefs TE Jody Fortson exited Week 8 against the Raiders with an apparent knee injury.
Chiefs trainers helped Fortson leave the field, dragging his right leg behind him, unable to bear weight. It appeared as though Fortson’s knee buckled on the play prior.
Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Vincent Bonsignore reports that the “Raiders have made it a point to get third-year tight end Michael Mayer involved in the offense, culminating with a productive minicamp.”
