According to ESPNâs Adam Schefter, Warren will receive a fully guaranteed $20.9 million on his new contract that includes an $11.88 million signing bonus. Warren, who was viewed by many as the No. 1 tight end of the class, went off the board four picks after the Bears took Michiganâs Colston Loveland as the TE1 of the draft, but will now have a chance to earn the starting job for the Colts this season. The Colts have long been in need of a productive tight end in the passing game, and should find that in Warren, who caught 153 passes in his five-year career at Penn State, and broke out with a 104-1,233-8 line last season. A solid run-blocker who can also create after the catch, Warren should have no trouble seeing the field, but a run-heavy scheme could put a cap on his overall target volume this season.
