Micah Parsons

Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer told reporters that Micah Parsons is not participating in this week’s voluntary organized team activities.

According to Around The NFL staffers, Parsons attended voluntary workouts earlier this month. Whether he will be present for next week’s workouts, scheduled for June 2, 3 and 5, is unknown. Parsons is seeking a market-setting contract as he enters the final year of his rookie deal. Though the current team activities are voluntary, the Cowboys would undoubtedly prefer to have Parsons there, as they attempt to foster a winning culture in Schottenheimer’s inaugural head coaching season.
