Dameon Pierce

Dameon Pierce (hamstring) is inactive for Houston’s Week 5 game against the Bills.

It’ll be another week of Cam Akers and Dare Ogunbowale for the Texans. Pierce returned for a surprise limited session on Friday but it wasn’t enough. Also inactive for the Texans are DE Derek Barnett, OLB Jake Hansen, T Tytus Howard, RB Joe Mixon, and WR Steven Sims. Howard’s absence should elevate rookie Blake Fisher into the starting lineup.
