Dolphins CB Jalen Ramsey said “a new chapter awaits” in a recent post on social media.

Ramsey has cryptically posted on the formerly known Twitter/currently known X over the last couple days while awaiting a trade from Miami. One of his most recent posts made it clear that he would definitively not return to the Dolphins, saying that “a new chapter awaits.” Rams head coach Sean McVay spoke about a trade for Ramsey on Wednesday, saying “there hasn’t been any meaningful, tangible dialogue”, but continued that things “can always change pretty quickly.” The Dolphins would take a cap hit of over $25 million if Ramsey is moved before June 1, a number that would fall to $7 million after that day. With that date coming up soon, a Ramsey trade out of Miami could materialize fast as his time with the Dolphins seems to be all but over.
